The showrooms of the Dallas Design Center invite you to attend the 2nd annual “Grow!” The event will offer 8-hours of continuing education (CEPH). A 4-hour business workshop called “Survival in a New Economy: A Business Guide to a New Way of Thinking about the Luxury Market”, will also take place during the event. Visit showrooms offering Open Houses and participate in the “Simple Luxuries” raffle drawing. Complimentary luncheons will be offered each day.

I highly recommend checking this event out. I am excited to sit in and chat with the speaker Glen Bordeaux who will be presenting the "Survival in a New Economy: A Business Guide to a New Way of Thinking about the Luxury Market" Come to network, learn and get excited about your future in the design industry!

Driving on Dragon St. is a daily event that I look forward to each day. When it was winter and would get dark out at 3:00 in the afternoon, the gallery windows would just glow with spotlighted artwork. As a pass Samuel Lynne Galleries I have to tear my eyes from their windows, trying not to crane my neck for too long, for my safety and others! They have amazing stuff and now you can enjoy in person every Saturday for the new "Shop & Stroll Saturdays" where numerous galleries and design shops will be open. The new series kicks off this Saturday and you can check out their new exhibit by Michael Kalish who uses old licence plates as his medium. Love the Warhol inspired Marylin that is gracing the window now...
