Again & Again, a vintage and consignment furniture shop, has a new location in the Design District and they want people to know about it! In the spirit of Again & Again’s fun approach to furniture and decor, they are throwing a street party on Saturday, October 22, and inviting Dallas design buffs to join during the Annual Riverfront’s Fall Antiques Districts Street wide Sale.

From 11am to 2pm, Again & Again will host Dallas food truck favorites Nammi and Three Men and a Taco, serve Pearl Cup Coffee, and provide live tunes by Dallas DJ, Mr. Diamond. Shoppers will love the outdoor sale, where inventory will be discounted up to 75%.

This event is part of the annual Riverfront Antiques District Street Wide Sale, where this Saturday 9am-5pm, over two hundred vendors will set up along Riverfront, Parkhouse Street, Howell, and Riveredge. Visitors will find antiques, mid-century modern and vintage furniture, designer art, architecturals and lighting of all kinds.

Again & Again, Dallas’ favorite consignment shop, now has a 14,000 square foot space at 141 Howell Street, filled with high-style, high-quality vintage pieces. Celebration of Design 2011

Celebration of Design October 11-14 2011

Visit the link to See a List of Events and Registration

Featuring Keynote Speaker

This is a 4 day celebration filled of events dedicated strictly to design. Be apart of the celebration with fellow designers and local showrooms. Showrooms in the Decorative Center will be sponsoring these exciting events. One event I am particularly excited about is: The Intricacies of Design, Presented by Alexa Hampton at Brown Jordan October 13 at 1:00-3:00.

I do not really go ga-ga over celebrities and movie stars but my nerd odometer quickly rises when I hear of notable architects and designers coming to town. I am so proud that Dallas has upped the culture ante here and is now a stopping point for these trend makers and innovators of the word!

Your dallasDECORUM blogger has the privilege of interviewing Alexa Hampton before the event. Alexa is the daughter of the late Marc Hampton and has now taken command of the empire so if there is anything you are dying to know, shoot me an email! Also the interview will be posted on my blog so come back to see what designing tips she has for homeowners and designers alike!

Here is a peak at some of Alexa Hampton's current work and you will see why House Beautiful has listed her as 'Americas Best 100 Designers' and New York Magazine has her listed as '100 Best Architects & Decorators.'
